Pack 292's cub scouts are primarily from Hooksett's schools, grades 1 thru 5. Pack Meetings are held on the third Friday of the month at various locations. Pack 292's chartered organization is the Hooksett Lions Club.

Pack 292 History

1960: Cub Scouts is born in Hooksett. 31 Cub Scouts, ages 8 to 10, with 6 Den Mothers and 5 Committee members are registered. The Fred C. Underhill School P.T.A. is the Chartered Organization and Underhill School is where the pack meets every third Wednesday at 7 p.m. Gerald Desrochers is the Cub Master and Gordon Moore, Jr. is the Committee Chairman.

1964: Pack 292 moves it’s meeting place to Hooksett Memorial School every third Friday at 7 p.m.

1966: Pack 292 changes hands. Hooksett Mens Club becomes the Chartered Organization, with pack meetings still held at Hooksett Memorial. Cubmaster George Longfellow and Committee Chairman Gerald Lacourse oversee 104 scouts, ages 8 to 10, 23 Den Mothers, 1 Webelos Leader (male) and 14 Committee Members.

1982: Pack 292 moves again. This time to their home at Hooksett Village School. The meeting day and time remain the same.

2001: Pack 292 changes hands again as the Hooksett Lions Club becomes the chartered organization. They continue to hold their pack meetings at Hooksett Village School. 68 scouts and 17 leaders in 10 Dens (3 Tiger, 2 Wolf, 3 Bear, Webelos I & Webelos II) are registered.

2002: Pack 292 is still chartered by Hooksett Lions Club. They now meet monthly at the Hooksett Public Library.

2006: Pack 292 is evicted by the Hooksett Public Library, and begins a nomadic existence. Monthly meetings are held at a variety of Hooksett schools.
