Located in Hooksett, New Hampshire - Troop 292 was founded in 1951. Organized by a “Group of Citizens”, they met at the Community Grange Hall on Wednesday evenings. The original charter was for Scoutmaster Leo Sasseville, Committee Chairman Marshall Rice, 13 Boy Scouts, 2 Explorers and 8 Committee Members.

Troop 292 is sponsored by the Hooksett Lions Club and meets on Thursday evenings at The American Legion Post 37 Hall.
